WEDDINGS by Mary Alice

" We wanted to tell you how much we liked you - personally and as our photographer - perfect !
How lucky were we !! In the end the rain didn't matter did it, and the photos look great .
It was only 10 days ago, but already seems a distant hallowed moment in some myth ...!
Thank you again for the great service, but most of all for your affection and good humour! "

PHOTO RESTORATION
Bringing past memories back to life
Once In A Lifetime & Amazing Roseland Events
As a local photographer married to a local historian, it has become important to me to try and photograph all the amazing events that take place here in our village. I think we live in one of the most beautiful area’s in the UK with an amazing community spirit and we can be proud of what our village has accomplished over the years, and the sometimes obscure business it can attract.
What happens today is tomorrow’s history and it is important to me, for the community, that there is a proper photographic record for the future.

Rosamunde Pilcher - SNAKES IN PARADISE http://www.ffpnewmedia.com/in-production-summary.html
based on the Rosamune Pilcher books.

As the local events photographer it was a pleasure, and fun to experience a bit of a film in the making.
We know because of the previous film shoots here, it has attracted many tourists to our area, so, having to put up with a bit of a disruption in and around the village and a bit of verbal abuse - it was and will be well worth it !

Largest Dolphin Stranding and Rescue on the Percuil River, June 9th., 2008

Never do I want to have to experience anything like this again ! :(
See http://www.youtube.com/embed/njFQ5ZrXl-I
By: http://www.zsl.org The comprehensive investigation into the mass stranding of common dolphins (Delphinus delphis) that occurred in Cornwall on 9th June 2008 was co-ordinated by the collaborative UK Cetacean Strandings Investigation Programme (CSIP) (http://www.ukstrandings.org) which is currently managed by Institute of Zoology, Zoological Society of London (ZSL). The investigation was funded by Defra through a variation to the current contract with ZSL and a full report is now available at http://randd.defra.gov.uk/Document.aspx?Document=WC0601_8031_TRP.pdf. Partner organisations of the CSIP are Institute of Zoology, Zoological Society of London, the Scottish Agricultural College (Inverness), the Natural History Museum and Marine Environmental Monitoring. Other organisations that contributed to the report included British Divers Marine Life Rescue, Centre for Environment, Fisheries and Aquaculture Science, Cornwall Wildlife Trust Marine Strandings Network, Joint Nature Conservation Committee, Southwest Fisheries Science Centre, Universidad de las Gran Palmas Gran Canaria, Veterinary Laboratory Agency (Truro) and Wildlife Veterinary Investigation Centre in Cornwall.
